I love the books Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan.
It was so much fun to read a book with so much Greek Mythology in the story. I once taught ancient history and I have always enjoyed the wonderful classic stories of the ancient Greeks. I think Rick Riordan did a great job telling a story in our modern world and connecting it with the mythology. I am not suprised how many students at Mitchell checked out these books. Most of the titles in this series have a reserve list they are so popular with the students. If you like Percy Jackson or any other books from the Mitchell library, you should post your comments so other students will be inspired to read.
